Roy Wood serves as Vice President of Global Consulting and Education. In this role, Roy is responsible for implementation services, project management, training delivery, and customer satisfaction. At Sparta, Roy brings his more than 18 years of software and global implementation experience to ensure top-level implementation support. Before joining the Sparta Executive Management team, Roy was Global Vice President of Professional Services at SAP responsible for the Consulting Portfolio of service offerings to the customers as well as for field adoption of strategic initiatives. In his 14 year career at SAP, Roy worked in numerous roles, including Product Development, managing SAP’s Human Capital Management Consulting Practice during a rapid growth phase, and having responsibility for SAP’s North American Technology Consulting Practice of over 500 dedicated professionals. Prior to his tenure at SAP, Roy was a Senior Human Resource Management consultant at Price Waterhouse. Roy holds a BA from Vassar College and an MBA from the University at Albany, SUNY. He has also completed numerous executive training sessions, including technology-focused programs at Harvard and INSEAD.
