This is part two of an ongoing series of posts from Mohan Ponnudurai as he attends and speaks at quality shows and conferences across the globe. Read part one here.
The Data Integrity, Reliability & Quality Metrics workshop intended for the Indian pharma industry is the 2nd annual event held at the Westin Garden City in Mumbai, India. This event was attended by about 120 professionals from various job functions including quality operations, regulatory and compliance, manufacturing operations and corporate. Primary sessions were presented by Lachman Consultants, a US based FDA compliance training and consulting services provider.
The overall theme of this event was exclusively dedicated to data quality and metrics related to pharma regulations, requirements and compliance. The event included informational sessions related to FDA requirements on data structure, management of processes, structure of quality needs to meet operational and regulatory requirements, and the new expectations related to FDA quality metrics.
As part of Sparta Systems’ gold partner status I presented a workshop which provided access to the entire group and allowed me to present in front of all the attendees. My primary message included: who is Sparta Systems, what is TrackWise, and what to consider when it comes to quality metrics not only from a regulatory/compliance perspective, but also through a business lens. More than half of the attendee companies are TrackWise customers, but it turned out that not all were familiar with our full breadth of quality products. The entire two days provided plenty of breaks and networking opportunities which offered me the chance to further educate attendees on a one-to-one basis and even to conduct impromptu product demos.
Stay tuned for part three of “Where in the World is Mohan Ponnudurai” coming soon.
